About the Course

  • Age requirement: 16 years old and above.

  • Intensive Japanese morning lessons from absolute beginners to early intermediate levels (CEFR: A1~B1).

  • Class schedule: 8:50 ~ 12:00. Only Japanese is used in class!

  • Cultural experiences and excursions in the afternoons and weekends.

  • Select from 3 courses in either July or August! (Included activities are different!)

We’ve arranged lots of different activities for you to enjoy, so you can experience Japan’s cultural traditions and modern technology firsthand.

2. Form a Group with Students who Love the Same Things as You!
Is there somewhere in Kyoto you wanted to go, but didn’t get the chance earlier? Want to go somewhere we visited again? On the first week of the group tour, you’ll have the chance to visit a place you’re interested in with like-minded students! You’ll form a group, create a schedule and go there! Create unforgettable memories with your friends, and try out the Japanese you learnt in class. You’ll make a presentation about it as well. We’ll reserve a taxi for you so you can explore Kyoto in comfort.

3. Meet Students from All Over the World!
Study alongside students from all over the world.

Course Fees Include:

  • Japanese Classes (8:50AM~12:00PM)

  • Lesson Materials and Facility Use Fees

  • Activities and Entrance Fees

  • Yukata Kimono! (1)

  • One-way tickets to the activity locations + a free ICOCA card! (We’ll give you the ICOCA card at Orientation.) (2)

1 Students on the Premium and Standard Courses receive a free Yukata!
2 An ICOCA card is a prepaid smart card that allows you to use most public transport (metro, trains, buses, monorail) in Japan. You can also use it in some shops and restaurants. We’ll give you one charged with 1,500 yen.

Course Fees Do Not Include:

  • Flights to and from Japan, Accommodation, Airport pick up, Commuter pass from accommodation to the school, Travel Insurance, Food (except when part of an activity).

  • Free participation activities (please pay the entrance fee and transportation fees yourself).


From Kyoto to Tokyo! Tokyo Mystery Tour Fees (Optional) 

  • 26th – 28th July (3 days, 2 nights) : 108,000 JPY

  • 12th – 14th August (3 days, 2 nights) : 129,600 JPY
