+ age requirement?

People of all ages choose to study at language schools in Japan.

The minimum age depends on the course. It is always either 14, 15, 16 or 18+. Please see the respective course page to check. If you or your child are a bit too young; you can still apply now to save your spot for next year.

Most people are in their 20s.

There are certain courses designated only for teens, with extra support.

There is no age limit; whether you are in your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60+; it is never too late to learn new things.

We can help you decide on accommodation, too! Please decide on a course before accommodation, since it changes depending on the location.

->(What is the JLPT?)

The JLPT stands for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

It is a standardised test recognised internationally; testing reading, writing and listening skills (there is no speaking section).

At least JLPT N2 (the second highest level) is recommended to get a full-time job using Japanese, or enrolling in vocational colleges/university, as it is considered business-level Japanese.

JLPT N1 (the highest level) is more academic Japanese, and is more than what an average Japanese person would know! It is a great long-term goal to have. Students can study at this level in intensive courses also.

+ Are Flights Included?

Since our courses are flexible, and students usually like to book their own flights, they are not included.

It is best to book once the course is confirmed.
