Free activities organised everyday after class (Go out on Friday nights with students and some teachers to have a great time, do language exchanges with Japanese people & go on trips).

Activities include:
Visits to various temples and shrines, calligraphy lessons, Traditional tea ceremony, plus
Japanese sweets making, Making wind chimes, Making traditional Japanese paper, Woodblock engraving for stamps and more.

Class Size:

Maximum 9 in a class, so students and teachers have close relationships, with more support. Learn Japanese in an at-home like environment.

School Highlights:

  • The most flexible option. Optional kanji classes, test-taking skill classes, private lessons available.

Further Information:

  • You can join every Monday, or every first Monday of the month for complete beginners.
  • Many optional cultural activities (such as Japanese exchange, ikebana) are available after class.
  • Various school outings are held on public holidays when the school is closed. If there is no trip and the school is closed, ¥1,000 is refunded to the student.
  • You will study 20 lessons of Japanese per week, Monday-Friday, and then have 3 two-hour cultural "experience" classes every Saturday.
  • Each course is minimum 1 week. The cultural actitivies every Saturday is for a maximum of 4 weeks. If you wish to study longer, you can choose other courses or do the Practical Japanese course (just the core classes, see below) for longer.

√ All classes are conducted in Japanese. This direct teaching method allows you to start thinking in Japanese, meaning you will learn at a much faster pace. The teachers will bring cards with drawings, so even if you are a beginner, you will have no problem understanding what they are saying.

Fees:

Registration(1) plus textbook: 21,500 JPY

Tuition per week: 42,500 JPY

High season surcharge per week: 3,250 JPY (High season only applies to weeks with a Monday in Jul/Aug).

Available January 2019.

-Minimum age for this course is 15.

-You must know basic-level Japanese for this course. (about JLPT N5 level). Must know all Hiragana. Be able to do a self-introduction, talk about your country and family in Japanese. Be able to express time and money (from 0 to 9,999 yen).
